Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview & Fair Trade Principles

At IlmiDunya Pakistan, we strive to foster a secure, ethical, and transparent educational ecosystem for students, parents, and educators. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the rights, guarantees, and procedures regarding financial transactions conducted on our platform for Study Notes & Past Papers and Courses & 1-on-1 Tuitions.

2. Study Notes Selling & Purchasing Policy

#### A. Safe Deal & 100% Refund Guarantee (Administration Account)

To safeguard students and parents against non-delivery, fraudulent listings, or broken downloads, IlmiDunya provides an official escrow protection model:

• 100% Money-Back Guarantee: When a student purchases study notes, formula sheets, or solved guides by remitting payment directly to an Official Administration Account (Meezan Bank, Raast ID: 03171759093, EasyPaisa, or JazzCash) and submits valid payment proof, their payment is protected by administration escrow.
• Non-Release of Notes: If the tutor/seller fails to review the payment proof and release the authentic third-party download link (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, etc.) within 24 hours, the student is entitled to a 100% full refund from the administration.
• Inaccessible or Corrupted Files: If the released download link is broken, expired, password-locked without access, or contains corrupted files that do not correspond to the published note description, and the seller does not rectify the issue within 24 hours of notification, the student receives a 100% refund.

#### B. Direct Deal Disclaimer (Peer-to-Peer Transactions)

• No Platform Liability for Direct Transfers: If a buyer chooses to transfer payment directly to a tutor's personal bank account or mobile wallet rather than the official administration account, the transaction is classified as an independent direct deal.
• Important Warning: As displayed on all notes pages: "Administration will not be responsible for direct deals & third-party links. Send payment to administration account for safe & secure transfer of notes. If the sender doesn't send you the notes, you will get 100% refund by the administration." Transactions conducted outside the administration account are outside our escrow jurisdiction and cannot be refunded by IlmiDunya. We strongly advise all students to utilize the official administration account for guaranteed protection.

#### C. Seller Obligations & 10% Platform Fee

• Seller Remittance Policy: Tutors who sell study notes retain 90% of their earnings. After verifying a student's payment and releasing the download link, the tutor has 72 hours to remit the 10% platform fee to the official administration account.
• Seller Penalties for Fraud: Sellers who upload fraudulent, plagiarized, misleading, or inaccessible files will have their listings immediately taken down and their tutor accounts suspended.

3. Courses & 1-on-1 Tuition Refund Policy

#### A. Free Introductory Trial Session

We encourage parents and students to utilize the free introductory interaction or trial class offered by tutors to evaluate teaching style, syllabus coverage, and compatibility before committing to a monthly tuition package or structured course.

#### B. Uncommenced Courses or Sessions

• If a student has paid for a course or monthly tuition package through platform-managed deals, and the tutor cancels before the first class or fails to attend the scheduled commencement without prior notice, the student will receive a 100% full refund or free re-matching with an alternative verified tutor.

#### C. Mid-Course Discontinuation & Pro-Rated Refunds

• If an active course or monthly tuition arrangement cannot continue due to extended tutor unavailability, illness, or verified platform dispute:
• A pro-rated refund will be calculated and returned to the student for all remaining, untaught scheduled sessions.
• Completed sessions that were satisfactorily delivered and attended are non-refundable.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not applicable in the following circumstances:

1. Change of Mind on Delivered Notes: Study notes that have been successfully released, downloaded, and match the syllabus description cannot be returned due to the instant nature of digital files.
2. Direct Unmonitored Deals: Cash or bank transfers made directly to individual tutors outside the official administration escrow account.
3. Student Absenteeism: Scheduled 1-on-1 live classes missed by the student without at least 4 hours advance notice to the tutor.

5. How to Request a Refund & Processing Timelines

1. Submit Your Request: Send an email to info@ilmidunya.com or contact the in-app Support Desk within 48 hours of the transaction issue.
2. Provide Details: Include your registered email, Order ID / Deal ID, Transaction ID (TID), bank receipt screenshot, and a brief explanation of the issue.
3. Investigation & Payout: Our administrative team will verify the payment and investigate with the seller/tutor. Validated refunds will be transferred directly to your Pakistani bank account, Raast ID, or mobile wallet (EasyPaisa/JazzCash) within 24 to 48 business hours.
